Midsommar, midsummer is a typical Swedish tradition. On this day, every year, the Swedes celebrate the day of the solstice, the longest day of the year. Midsommar annually takes place on the Friday right before or right after the 21st of June.
The day is celebrated in all of Sweden.

This is an open air theatre play based on the book Jerusalem by Selma Lagerlöf. It’s based on a true story that took place in Nås.
There will be a art market at Storänget as well.

Vansbro swimming is one of the world’s largest and oldest open water events with almost 14,000 participants. The competitions take place around the turn of the month June / July every year in Vansbro, a scenic municipality in the heart of Dalarna.

Rättvik
Lovers of old American cars can enjoy themselves during Classic Car Week Rättvik. This is the biggest car event in Sweden. During the whole week, there’s events and all the beautiful cars will be cruising around Rättvik and its surroundings.
