Midsommar, midsummer is a typical Swedish tradition. On this day, every year, the Swedes celebrate the day of the solstice, the longest day of the year. Midsommar annually takes place on the Friday right before or right after the 21st of June.
The day is celebrated in all of Sweden.

Vansbrosimningen
Vansbro
Annually, the biggest open water swimming competition of Sweden takes place in Vansbro. During this annual competition, there will be daily swimming competitions which vary in length. The shortest length is 1 kilometre and the longest is 3 kilometres.

Classic Car Week
Rättvik
Lovers of old American cars can enjoy themselves during Classic Car Week Rättvik. This is the biggest car event in Sweden. During the whole week, there’s events and all the beautiful cars will be cruising around Rättvik and its surroundings.

Flygfest in Dala-järna

Every three years, there’s a flygfest, air show, in Dala-Järna.
